At Can-Ross, we offer free samples of our premium grade absorbent material so you can test before you buy. Our products are manufactured by the melt-blown fine fibre process, which offers the best absorption, retention, and tensile strength qualities. The fine fibre construction creates a strong synthetic that also includes small voids where the fluids are entrapped and retained. The voids created in the coarse fibre process are significantly larger than those in the fine fibre synthetic and less efficient in retaining the absorbed liquids.
Our premium grade material will absorb up to ten (10) times their weight in liquids and will retain a high percentage of what they absorb. The material maintains its integrity through multiple uses and “wring-outs” at the spill site and will not shed or lint (causing secondary clean up demands).
These benefits accrue in the form of reduced disposal costs.
Haz-Mat Absorbents
Manufactured using a process in which a high loft, yellow, melt-blown polypropylene fabric is bonded between a yellow, fine fibre with our best grade cover stock.
During the manufacturing process, both products are impregnated with a wetting agent, making the finished product non-selective.
Fabricated from a heavyweight, high loft fabric, this unique product offers high absorption and retention capabilities. This product will absorb up to ten (10) times its weight and is selective to most acids and bases.
The yellow fine fibre cover stock provides low linting and superior tensile strength.

Oil Only Absorbents
Manufactured using a process in which a high loft, blue, melt-blown polypropylene, the fabric is bonded together using an ultrasonic weld between a blue, fine fibre, premium grade cover stock.
Fabricated from a heavy weight, high loft fabric, this unique product offers high absorption and retention capabilities. This product will absorb up to ten (10) times its weight and is selective to oil-based products.
The blue, fine fibre cover stock offers colour indication when oil is present, low linting, and high tensile strength.
This premium product is manufactured in both a single and double weight material.
